The service

MyUncleJoe provides automotive repair estimate reference information. Today it flags HARD NO services, services with no factory interval, and compares your shop's labor rate to state averages for dealerships and independent shops. All information is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional automotive or legal advice.

Repair orders you upload

By uploading a repair order or estimate, you allow MyUncleJoe to store and use the information on it to build and check its own repair pricing data, including vehicle details, shop name and location, labor rates, labor hours, parts and prices. Uploaded images are kept privately on our servers so we can check that the information was read correctly. They are never published or shared.

Warranty disclaimer

Warranty coverage flags are reference information only. Warranty coverage is subject to the manufacturer's determination and may be denied based on reason for failure, vehicle history, outside influence, or other factors. MyUncleJoe does not guarantee warranty approval, coverage, or any specific savings outcome.

Accuracy

Labor rate averages and any pricing data are estimates. They are updated over time with real repair order data. Savings shown are potential and may not apply to all situations. Actual repair costs vary by location, shop, and vehicle condition. MyUncleJoe makes no guarantee of accuracy for any specific repair scenario.

Diagnosis

Uncle Joe does not verify diagnosis. He reviews what is being charged for the repairs listed on your repair order.

Your use

You agree to use MyUncleJoe for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to submit false or misleading repair information. You agree that shop ratings you submit are based on your genuine experience.

Limitation of liability

MyUncleJoe is not liable for any damages arising from decisions made based on information provided by this service. Always consult a qualified automotive professional for specific repair decisions.
